Balsamic Brussel Sprouts

My recipes are grain free, refined sugar-free and most are dairy free. I use to hate Brussel sprouts until I had them at a restaurant and they said they had roasted them. There are very few vegetables that I don’t eat. I use to think my children were going to be vegans as I never had an issue with getting them to eat vegetables only meat. My kids eat a varied and diverse diet. They are always up to eating something new. I kept trying to think of something new to do with Brussel sprouts.   Then a light bulb went off in my head. Since then this is one of my family’s favorite vegetables.

Preheat oven 375.

3-4 cups Brussel sprout

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

sprinkle with salt and pepper

sprinkle with avocado oil

 

Directions

Cut off the dark stem part. Slice Brussel sprouts in half. Salt and pepper the sprouts. Sprinkle vinegar and oil on the sprouts. Bake 30 -45 mins. Serves 4
