Luscious Sirloin Steak

My recipes are grain free, refined sugar free and most are dairy free. We love steak in my house. My husband was wanting something new. So off we went to Costco to see what they had. He looked at all the steaks and decided on the Sirloin. Next he asked if I was going to season it the same way. I told him I had a blog to write and would come up with some new spice or rub. I know many people want a steak with no seasoning. Not me. I like my steak to have plenty of flavor. If it has plenty of flavor it doesn’t need a steak sauce of any kind. We like to BBQ our steak low and slow on our Traeger grill. We have mesquite pellets and the seasoning I choose goes nicely with the smoke flavor. This would also be great with American Baked Beans, Dairy Free Coleslaw, Turnip Mash, and Carrots and Turnip Mash. I created Keto Nevada sauce as a substitute for Worcestershire sauce.

3 lbs. Sirlion steaks

1 teaspoon tarragon

1 teaspoon chervil

1 teaspoon parsley

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

3 tablespoons Keto Nevada Sauce

3 tablespoons coconut aminos

Remove steaks from the fridge. Allow them to come to room temperature. Place steaks inside a rimmed dish. Combine the tarragon, chervil, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper into a small dish. Stir until well combined. Sprinkle approximately 1/2 teaspoon of seasoning per steak per side. Next pour approximately 3/4 teaspoon of Nevada sauce and coconut aminos on both sides of the steak. Next place a digital thermometer probe into one of your steaks and grill on the BBQ. I like mine medium rare. I set the digital meat thermometer at 123 F. At 123 F remove from the grill and let sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with vegetables.
