Maple Mustard sauce/dressing

My recipes are grain free, refined sugar free, and most are dairy free. Some days I really wish I could just go purchase something from a restaurant and eat. But if I want to keep my health in check. Many of my dishes can be eaten by anyone whether you are grain free or refined sugar free. Don’t let the tag grain free prevent you from trying my recipes. All my recipes are from scratch.

Many days I am trying to figure out what I am going to make. Most days it has to be something new so I can add the recipe to my blog. It is not always easy to come up with a new recipe. I guess that’s why I pray for inspiration. I pray for inspiration in many areas of my life including homeschooling a high schooler. I have already graduated one child and am working on my youngest. Boy, I wish my son wanted to learn the culinary arts. But he is like most boys he loves to eat just not make it.

This is a simple recipe I use for my American Chicken Saltimbocca, Pistachio Horseradish Salmon, Grain Free Chicken Strips, Popcorn Chicken, or just as a salad dressing. It is an indulgent sauce or dressing and super tasty.

1/4 cup dijon mustard

1/4 cup maple syrup

Blend the two together. Use as a dipping sauce for chicken, pork, salmon or use as a salad dressing.
