Prime Rib Au Jus is the perfect recipe to take with you when you go out to eat and need to make sure it is gluten-free and refined sugar-free. When we go out to dinner I have to make my own salad dressings, steak sauce, au jus, etc. This is a perfect recipe to have on hand as you don’t need to cook Prime Rib to have Au Jus. Indeed this Au Jus can be used for other meats besides Prime Rib.
I created this recipe since I found out that most Au Jus’s on the market either have refined sugar in them or gluten. Therefore, I needed an alternative. I created this recipe quickly to bring to my mothers-in-law. In any case, it is a tradition that we have Prime Rib on Christmas day. I wanted to be able to dip my prime rib into au jus, not just homemade horseradish. Indeed, the next time we go out to dinner and I think I need an au jus this will be my go-to recipe. Not to mention the fact that this is a one serving recipe.
I use my own prime rib rub. I always read all the ingredients on all my food items. I have found a powdered beef bone broth that I can have. I know that there are several on the market. In any case, I myself use Lano Life.
Prime Rib Au Jus
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup beef bone broth (liquid)
- 1/4 tsp Keto Prime Rib Rub
- 1/4 tsp Powdered Beef Bone Broth such as Lano Life
Directions:
First, pour beef bone broth into a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
Second, add Prime Rib Seasoning. Next, add powdered Beef bone broth. Finally, combine all ingredients into a small glass jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake until well combined.
Remove lid and microwave for 1 minute. Lastly, replace lid and Au Jus is ready to go with you wherever you go.
