Italian Shrimp Tin-Foil Dinner

Italian Shrimp Foil-Pack Dinner is quick and easy to make. Place the ingredients into a sheet of tin foil add fresh herbs and garlic, crimp closed and bake.

Ingredients

  • 28 large shrimp
  • 1 cup liquid broth
  • 8 oz. tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp powdered chicken bone broth
  • 8 large leaves
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp fresh oregano
  • 1/2 tsp parsley
  • 1/2 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp pink salt
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp garlicky onion seasonings
  • 1/4 cup chopped or sliced onions

Fresh Basil, Fresh Thyme and Parmesan to decorate the top

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 400 F. 
    • First, rip off 4 long sheets of tin foil. and fold in half. 
    • Next, combine all the ingredients except the shrimp in a pan and bring to a simmer. 
    • Finally, cook sauce for 5 minutes and set aside to cool (don't add warm or hot sauce to cold shrimp or frozen shrimp). 
    • Additionally, add 7-8 large shrimp into the packet. 
    • Place several twigs of thyme, onion and  3 or 4 large basil leaves.
    • Finally, add a small amount of onion in the packet and 1/4 of the warmed tomato sauce mixture into each packet. 
    • Next, crimp the edges and place into the oven and bake for 10 - 15 minutes or if cooking from frozen 20 - 30 minutes.
    • Pour contents of the package over some Spaghetti Squash or other gluten-free pasta. 
    • Top with a little basil, parsley and a little parmesan if desired.
