Rosemary Wine Salt

Rosemary Wine Salt homemade in the dehydrator a seasoned salt with wine, rosemary, lemon, and smashed peppercorns. Wonderful wine, salt and rosemary flavor.

  • 3/4 cup pink salt
  • 1 tbsp chopped rosemary
  • 1 tbsp smashed peppercorns
  • 1/4 tsp Jalapeno powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp fresh lemon zest
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/3 cup White Moscato Wine


  • Prep dehydrator by placing a piece of parchment paper down on one of the trays. 
  • Combine the rosemary, peppercorns, jalapeno powder, lemon zest, orange zest, and Moscato wine until it becomes a slurry. 
  • Spread the salt mixture out along the tray so that it has a chance to dry out. Turn on the dehydrator and turn on to 105 F for 12 hours. 
  • Place into a spice grinder or food processor and grind until a fine spice. 
  •  Dry for another two hours in the dehydrator. 
  • Grind again in a spice grinder or food processor and grind to fine sand. 
  • Store for up to one year or more in a sterilized glass jar.
