Gluten-Free Beef Stew

Gluten-Free Beef Stew Recipe with a hickory tomato-based flavor. Loaded with parsnips and carrots instead of white potatoes. Tender beef and bean puree.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tsp avocado oil
  • 2 tsp pink salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped parsnips
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp powdered beef bone broth
  • 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 15 oz can pinto beans
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp red wine or water
  • 1/2 tsp liquid smoke hickory flavor

Instructions

  • First, cut stew meat into bite size pieces. 
  • Second, roughly chop onion. 
  • Add avocado oil to a pan until hot. 
  • Once the pan is hot add meat, onions, salt, and pepper to the pan.
  • While the beef is cooking add carrots and parsnips to the beef. 
  • Finally add pinto beans, tomato sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and powdered beef bone broth to a high powdered blender and process until smooth. 
  • Remove the bean sauce and pour over the cooked beef.
  • Lastly, add in balsamic vinegar, red wine, and hickory liquid smoke. 
  • Cook until warm. 

In the event, it gets too thick add a little liquid beef broth.
