Equipment

1 quart size canning jar can add more water in the morning

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 6 tbsp tigernut flour
  • 1/2 a stick of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla Optional
  • 2 tsp maple syrup Optional

Instructions

  • First, pour the ingredients into a sterilized jar and store it in the fridge overnight
    3 cups water, 6 tbsp tigernut flour, 1/2 a stick of cinnamon, 1 tsp pure vanilla, 2 tsp maple syrup
  • Place the jar into the fridge overnight.
  • In the morning place the ingredients into a blender and blend on high.
  • Use a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp.
  • Serve over ice.
  • Pour into glasses with ice.

Serve Hot or Cold

  • To drink warm simply heat it up in a microwave or on the stove until desired temperature.
  • To make a slushie add 1/4 cup ice cubes and the horchata milk to a blender.
  • Blend and serve.
