Smokey Chicken and Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 whole chicken breasts
  • 15 oz. can white beans
  • 15 oz can of pinto beans
  • 14. 5 can of fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz. can of black beans
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/8 tsp dried chopped onions
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp of my BBQ Seasoning see the recipe on my blog
  • 6 cups of water
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper

Instructions

  • First, way to cook soup is to place all ingredients into a slow cooker and cook for 4 - 5 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Once, the chicken is cooked remove it from the slow cooker and shred it.
  • Finally, return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and serve the soup.

*Optional addition: cheese to the bottom of your bowl. This is optional and therefore not included in the nutritional facts.
