First, preheat the oven to 350 F.
Second, sprinkle both sides of the halibut with salt, pepper, and onion powder.
4 6 oz. Alaskan Halibut Fillets, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp Rosemary Wine Salt, 1/4 tsp white pepper, 2 tbsp olive oil, or avocado oil, or grapeseed oil
Thirdly, gently press the spices into the halibut.
Next, add oil to an oven-proof frying pan.
Turn on medium heat and allow to get hot.
Finally, sear both sides of the fillets for approximately 2 minutes per side.
After searing place the frying pan in the oven to finish cooking the fillets 5- 8 minutes.
Lastly, once fillets are cooked remove them from the oven and allow to cool for 5 -10 minutes.
Eat as is or top with Orange Ginger Sauce.
