Baked Halibut Orange-Ginger Reduction is a luscious piece of fish made with rosemary wine salt and topped with an orange-ginger reduction. Consequently, it pairs perfectly, with cauliflower rice and a nice glass of white wine. Indeed, this tasty and elegant meal is one that will have you making time and again. Not only is this dish tasty but it is quick and low in carbs, as well as, clean eating. Baked Halibut with Orange-Ginger Reduction on a white platter with broccoli, and caulflower rice.

Baked Halibut Orange-Ginger Reduction:

Needless to say, Steakhouses across America offer Halibut on their menu. Hence, if you are not a fan of fish this recipe will make you a fan. The tastiest white fish in the ocean. Moreover, it is perfect for a romantic night in or an elegant dinner party. Not to mention, it would be perfect for an Anniversary, date night, or Valentine’s Day. It begins by pan-searing the fillets and then finishing baking them in the oven. Halibut is a mild white and flaky fish. In conclusion, side suggestions are rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes, zoodles, or just a nice salad.

The combined calorie count for the fillets and reduction is 265 with 5 grams of carbs. Therefore, if you are eating keto you can still enjoy your fillet with the Orange-Ginger Reduction.

Baked Halibut Orange-Ginger Reduction:

Ingredients:

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp rosemary salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil or grapeseed oil
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Directions:

First, preheat the oven to 350 F. Second, sprinkle both sides of the halibut with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Thirdly, gently press the spices into the halibut. Next, add oil to an oven-proof frying pan. Turn on medium heat and allow it to get hot. Finally, sear both sides of the fillets for approximately 2 minutes per side. After searing place the frying pan in the oven to finish cooking the fillets for 5- 8 minutes. Lastly, once the fillets are cooked remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for 5 -10 minutes. Eat as is or top with Orange Ginger Sauce.Cooked Fillet

  • 1 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 tsp coconut amnios
  • 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • Directions:

First, place all the ingredients into a large frying pan over medium heat. Finally, cook until reduced by 1/3 and a nice thick drizzly sauce is left. Lastly, drizzle a small amount over the Halibut. In conclusion, Baked Halibut is a wonderfully romantic and low-carb dinner. The baked Halibut Orange-Ginger Reduction Recipe is pan-seared and oven-baked drizzled with savory citrus syrup. Ingredients

Pan-Seared Oven Baked Halibut Fillets

  • 4 6 oz. Alaskan Halibut Fillets
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Rosemary Wine Salt See recipe on my blog
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, or avocado oil, or grapeseed oil
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Orange-Ginger Reductions

  • 1 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil

Instructions

Pan-Seared Oven Baked Halibut Fillets

  • First, preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Second, sprinkle both sides of the halibut with salt, pepper, and onion powder.
