Ingredients

  • 2 lbs New York Strip Steak Or Tri Tip
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Blueberry Balsamic Glaze

Salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions

Broiler Instructions

  • First, preheat the broiler.
  •  Secondly, add approximately 1/8 of a tsp garlic powder and onion powder per side of each steak.
    2 lbs New York Strip Steak Or Tri Tip, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder
  • Next, drizzle about a tsp of blueberry Balsamic Glaze on both sides of each steak.
    2 1/2 tbsp Blueberry Balsamic Glaze
  • Place steaks onto a broiling pan.
  • Broil approximately 4 minutes per side or until an oven-safe thermometer reaches your desired doneness. 
  • Lastly, remove from oven and allow to rest approximately 10 – 15 minutes.

Grill Instructions

  • First, reheat the grill.
  • Secondly, grill the meat at 165 F.
  • Add the seasonings and glaze to the steaks or tri-tip.
  • Add a thermometer to the meat.
  • Cook until it reaches 122 F. for medium rare steak.
  • Remove and let rest 10 minutes before slicing into the steak or tri-tip.

Serving suggestion: Serve with additional Blueberry Balsamic Glaze
