Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp maple sugar or real maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 3 whole leaves of sage
  • 1 tsp wine rosemary salt
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 3 lbs bone in Turkey breast half

Instructions

  • First, preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Second, place a pop-up timer into the turkey breast.
  • Third, add two tablespoons of cassava flour into the bag and shake.
  • Fourth, pour all the ingredients except for the turkey breast into a bowl and whisk together.

  • Add the liquids and seasoning to the cooking bag.
  • Finally, lay the turkey breast skin side down into the bag.

  • Next, flip the breast with the skin facing up and place it on a roasting pan.
  • Place the turkey into the oven and bake for 45- 50 minutes or until the pop-up timer pops up.
  • Remove from the oven.
  • Cut the top off and smear the turkey breast with butter or coconut oil.
  • Turn the oven to broil.
  • Place the turkey back into the oven for a few minutes being sure to keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn.
  • Once the skin is crisp remove from oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
  • Carefully pour out the juices into a pan to use to make gravy. 
  • Lastly, slice and serve.
