Dairy-Free Tzatziki Sauce

Dairy-Free Tzatziki Sauce made with fresh herbs, lemon juice, dill weed, garlic, and onions. Homemade refined-sugar free and dairy-free sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup shredded cucumbers with liquid squeezed out
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk thick part only
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp rosemary wine salt see recipe on my blog
  • 1 tsp Za'atar Spice
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 tbsp minced red onion
  • 2 tbsp minced fresh dill weed
  • 1 tbsp granulated onion
  • 1 tbsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • First, shred the cucumbers and place inside a clean tea towel and squeeze out any excess liquid and set aside. 
  • Secondly, open a can of coconut milk and remove only 1/2 cup of the thick coconut milk and place into a small bowl. 
  • Thirdly, combine drained shredded cucumbers, coconut milk, lemon juice, rosemary wine salt, minced garlic, dried minced onion, minced dill weed, granulated garlic, granulated onion, onion powder, and chopped fresh parsley until well combined. 

Serve with Chips, Vegetable Platter, Crackers or my Gluten-Free Greek Turkey Meatballs.
