Keto Curry Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/8 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp powdered Jalapeno see recipe on blog
  • 1/2 tsp pink salt
  • 6 slices lemon
  • 2 lbs salmon

Harissa Curry Sauce

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (thick part)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 + 1 tbsp + tsp Harissa mild
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp Jalapeno Powder see recipe on blog
  • 3/4 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp pink salt
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger

Instructions

  • First, preheat oven to 350 F. 
  • Second, in a small bowl mix together curry powder, turmeric, Garam Masala, mustard powder, jalapeno powder, and salt until combined.

  • Once the spices are combined sprinkle a good amount over both sides of the salmon. 
  • Top the salmon with thin slices of lemon
    6 slices lemon
  • Next, salmon on a baking sheet or baking stone.
    2 lbs salmon
  • Lastly, place salmon in the oven and bake 15 -25 minutes.

Masala Sauce

  • Combine all the above ingredients in a small bowl.
    1/2 cup coconut milk (thick part), 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 + 1 tbsp + tsp Harissa, 1/2 tsp Garam Masala, 1 1/2 tsp curry powder, 1/2 tsp Jalapeno Powder, 3/4 tsp mustard powder, 1/4 tsp pink salt, 1 clove minced garlic, 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger

Serve alongside or on top of baked Curry Salmon. Serve with Masala Cauliflower Rice.
