Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp pink salt
  • 5 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp ground sage
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Combine ground turkey with salt, maple syrup, sage, pepper, and garlic powder.
    1 lb ground turkey, 1 tsp pink salt, 5 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp ground sage, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Using your hands mix the meat until thoroughly combined.
  • Make into patties or you could get pork casings and use a sausage stuffer make sausage links instead of patties.
  • Cook in a frying pan on medium heat 5- 8 minutes per side or until done.
  • Remove from heat and serve. Freezes well. To freeze: place them on a pan with a little space between each one then place in the freezer for 4- 5 hours.
  • Remove from freezer.
  • Place wax paper between each sausage and wrap in a gallon size sealable freezer bag.
  • Not all bags are made for the freezer. Make sure your bag is a freezer bag.
  • Then when you want to pull out a few at a time for one or more people.
  • Heat up in a frying pan until thoroughly heated.
