Orange Syrup

Orange Syrup Recipe is a great addition to the pantry. Use to top waffles, crepes, pancakes, or even ice cream. A bright citrus topping.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice
  • *1 tsp orange zest optional
  • 1/4 cup monk fruit sweetener
  • 2 tbsp yacon syrup
  • *1 tbsp refined sugar-free Orange Marmalade optional

Instructions

  • First, combine all the ingredients in to a wide frying pan.
    2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice, *1 tsp orange zest, 1/4 cup monk fruit sweetener, 2 tbsp yacon syrup, *1 tbsp refined sugar-free Orange Marmalade
  • Second, over medium heat stirring occasionally until the ornage juice cooks down until about 1 a cup.
  • Once it reaches your desired syrup consistency.
  • Keep in mind the syrup will thicken slightly as it cools.
  • Pour into a syrup pitcher and use.
