Ingredients

  • 4 thinly pork chops
  • 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp real maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes or sun-dried tomato paste (from a tube)
  • 3 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp pink salt
  • 2 tsp tomato paste from a tube
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp of water

Instructions

  • First, preheat the oven to 350.
  • Second, combine all the ingredients, except for the water, in a small food processor until well blended.
    4 thinly pork chops, 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 2 tbsp real maple syrup, 2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes or sun-dried tomato paste (from a tube), 3 tsp onion powder , 2 tsp pink salt, 2 tsp tomato paste , 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • Thirdly, place approximately 1 tablespoon of sauce on both sides of each pork chop.
  • Finally, turn an electric stove on to medium heat.
  • Next, add avocado oil to an ovenproof frying pan.
    3 tbsp avocado oil
  • Once hot add pork chops to the frying pan.
  • Next, sear each side of the pork chops.
  • Lastly, place it into the oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
  • Last but not least, add the remaining sauce to the pan along with the water.
    2 tbsp of water
  • Above all, place a lid on the pan to prevent the chops from drying out.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 -15 minutes.
  • Serve with the remaining sun-dried glaze from the pan.
