Ingredients

  • 2 large Maple Turkey Breakfast Sausage
  • 2 1/2 tbsp avocdo oil
  • 1 cup beef or chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 1/8 tsp ground sage
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/8 tsp ground rosemary

Instructions

  • First, heat up 1/2 tsp of avocado oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Next, add in maple turkey breakfast sausage.
  • Finally, once the sausage is cooked on one side flip it to cook the other.
  • When the sausage is cooked remove the sausage and cut up or chop the sausage into crumbles.
  • Next, add in the remaining avocado oil the tapioca flour.
    3 tbsp tapioca flour, 2 1/2 tbsp avocdo oil
  • Stir together to make a roux.
  • Let cook one minute.
  • Next, pour in chicken broth homemade or store-bought and almond milk.
    1 cup beef or chicken broth, 1/2 cup almond milk
  • Continue stirring until thickened.
  • Add in the spices, salt, and pepper to taste.
    1/8 tsp ground sage, 1/8 tsp ground rosemary
  • Lastly, add in the sausage and serve.
