Gluten-Free Biscuits & Sausage Gravy for two. Without a doubt, a favorite classic Southern Breakfast when added to biscuits. A luscious creamy turkey maple sausage with sage and rosemary seasonings creates a wonderful gravy. Perfect for a small romantic breakfast for your loved one. In fact, I created this recipe for breakfast for my anniversary. Of course, you could quadruple it if you need it for more than two. Indeed, I add a little almond milk to make it creamy and luscious. I highly suggest making Biscuits and Gravy with it. Simply follow this recipe and add my gluten-free sour cream and onion biscuits to it. It makes a delicious breakfast or brunch.
Gluten-Free Sausage Gravy:
Needless to say, every once in a while I just want to have some gravy for my day. Whether it is to top biscuits with or pork chops or perhaps something else. I don’t know about you but I personally don’t like to eat the same thing all the time. It is nice to have some recipes that are just for two people. I am at the tail end of my homeschooling journey which means that my future will be an empty nester. Oh, how I will miss the days for making breakfast and doing school work.
Indeed, I often wish I could return to these days to soak in the presence of my children. I miss my son who would come and cuddle on my lap. I miss my daughter begging for another story. But, mostly I miss their various selves as they are very different people than when they were young. But alas, those days are gone forever. Consequently, I am very grateful for the time I got to have with my children. And for being able to homeschool.
Enjoy this time with your family as it will seem like a flicker in time one day.
