Melt coconut oil and add maple sugar to it.
8 tbsp coconut oil, 3/4 cup maple sugar
Once it starts to caramelize add in the coconut milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sliced bananas.
1/4 cup coconut milk, 1/8 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 2 whole sliced bananas
Cook until the bananas are cooked.
Once they are cooked about 1 - 2 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and turn off the stove.
Next pour in the rum and liqueur.
1/8 cup gluten-free rum, 1 tbsp homemade banana liqueur If you want the alcohol to burn off using a long lighter stick and ignite the alcohol.
It will put itself out after the alcohol has burned out. It is not necessary to do this step.
