My recipes are grain free, refined sugar free, and many are dairy free. My diet was revamped in October of 2017. I am coming up on a year since I switched the way I eat. I won’t lie, there are days when I think that I don’t know if I will be able to continue eating this way. It would be so easy to give up. I miss the days when I could go out to eat with my family and eat bread with butter or my favorite parmesan and balsamic dipping sauce. But then I remember feeling so exhausted that my days were hazy. I feel better and my labs reflect that. Some of my autoimmune illnesses are now nonexistent. I will not be going back. But some days are hard.
I do research and testing all the time. I won’t lie, not every recipe makes it to my blog. My family may like it but I don’t feel it is up to par. Which means I won’t be making it again.
I love getting up in the morning and read newspapers from around the world. Many of the articles contain stories of positivity and kindness. I absolutely love these stories. The world is full of wonderful people. There are many people who are always willing to lend a helping hand. Sometimes all someone needs to turn their day around is a kind word or a smile. I hope that my blog can help lift your day up even just a little bit. And perhaps then you can go out and lift up someone else. May you have a wonderful day and night wherever you may be.
This recipe was created to dip my Tex Mex Egg Rolls. Many people make a Ranch Guacamole sauce. Mine has a twist with a little spicy kick. I hope you enjoy! Feel free to thin this out with a little milk and use as a salad dressing.
