Gluten-Free Classic Beef Stroganoff is tender chunks of beef covered with a creamy sour cream and mushroom sauce. Indeed, this is perfect for spring or fall and the cozy comfy decadent foods we all crave. The sauce alone will have you wanting to lick your plate clean. Consequently, I created this recipe when my children were little and they didn’t care for mushrooms. Indeed, this recipe is versatile as it can be served with gluten-free pasta, rice, cauliflower rice, or even zoodles.
Gluten-Free Classic Beef Stroganoff:
However, if I finely chopped them up they had no idea that there were mushrooms in this dish. What is beef Stroganoff? It is a Russian type of stew. Made with tender chunks of beef and seared with onions, mushrooms, and garlic. Additionally, adding beef broth, sour cream, and heavy cream turns it into a silky decadent sauce. I kid you not this recipe will soon become a family favorite.
Not to mention, that this dish comes together in under 30 minutes. Consequently, the most common way to eat stroganoff is with pasta. Gluten-Free pasta is readily available now. A time-saving tip is to start your hot water electric kettle to cook the pasta. For this reason, I highly suggest purchasing an electric kettle if you don’t already have one.
Needless to say, if you have never tried Classic Beef Stroganoff you are in for a treat. Traditionally it is made with Fillet Mignon. Nevertheless, that cut of meat is expensive. Therefore, I use stew meat or rare leftover beef roast, cut into bite-size pieces.
