Almost everything I eat has to be created from scratch. Many of the combined seasonings have additives or something else I can’t have. So I create my own seasoning. I use this as my Italian Seasonings. Use in my Ambrosial Apricot Chicken, Italian dressing or however you use Italian seasoning.
The reason I created this recipe was I needed Italian seasoning to go into my Apricot chicken recipe. If you can get fresh herbs that is better but you would need to almost triple the recipe. Fresh herbs will give it the fresh taste that you just can’t reproduce with dried herbs. Don’t stress or worry about not having fresh herbs because this dried recipe is awesome and tasty.
2 teaspoon thyme
2 teaspoon oregano
2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon sage
Place all seasonings in a small jar or bottle put the lid on and shake until combined. Place an address label and write Italian seasoning on it and place into your pantry.
