Gluten-Free Siete Tortillas Review, believe it or not, they sell both tortillas and tortillas chips that are not only gluten-free but grain-free as well. Not to mention they make a variety of flavors and taste amazingly similar to corn tortillas and corn tortilla chips.Review of Siete Tortillas and Tortilla Chips

Gluten-Free Siete Tortillas Review

Most of the food that is grain-free and refined sugar-free currently on the market tastes like cardboard or worse. What’s the point to even package these foods that taste like cardboard. Therefore, I was pretty skeptical when I found Siente tortillas and tortilla chips. So as you can guess I was quite surprised when I first opened the package of tortillas to make chicken tacos.

However, these tortillas require you to heat them first. Not a problem since I was making tacos. Needless to say, my favorites are the tortillas in the pink and blue wrapper that are made of almond flour.Siete Gluten-Free Tortillas Frozen

None the less, my next favorite is the teal and blue package made with cassava and coconut, and lastly the purple and blue package that contains cassava and chia.Siete Gluten-Free Tortilla

Consequently, the almond is my favorite because I prefer the taste just a touch better than the cassava and coconut flour. I personally don’t really care for the texture the seeds in the Cassava and chia seeds give the tortilla but they are also good. Just an FYI I am very picky when it comes to textures.

First, the smell is good there is not really any scent. Second, the texture is similar to corn tortillas. In short, these tortillas fool your mind and tongue into believing that it is some sort of corn. Do they taste like almond flour or cassava flour? The answer is an astounding no. They do have a tendency to tear. But the flavor, texture, and taste are all there. What a pleasure it is to have found a tortilla so that now I can make Mexican food and it will be yummy.

Gluten-Free Siete Tortillas Chips Review

There are several options for purchasing these chips. Nonetheless, I have found these tortillas and chips locally both in the fridge section and also in the freezer section. In all honesty, I store mine in the freezer. I can purchase them locally at Natural Grocers, or you can purchase them online directly from the Siente company or even from Amazon. The only drawback is the price. They are the only grain-free chip I know on the market.

Now for Siete’s tortilla chips. I have adjusted my diet to improve my health. The only oils that I use are avocado, grapeseed oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and butter.  I no longer eat grains, refined sugar and have limited my dairy. So most snack items are out. But imagine my surprise when I found that Siete Foods also made tortilla chips. They have three different flavors Sea Salt, Lime, and Nacho. My favorite for sure is Nacho.

When you open the chip bag and smell it the aroma is delightful. They smell like tortilla chips. At any rate, the taste is off the hook. The flavor is beyond amazing. My favorite is Nacho, then Lime, and last is Sea Salt and Salty Lime. Incidentally, they have a spicy Fuego that I have not tried. But I like all the other flavors.

Gluten-Free Siete Chip Review Information

In conclusion, they are thinner than a Dorito. Siete Nacho Tortilla hipsAnd I do wish they were a bit thicker. However, they are about the same thickness as a Mexican Restaurant chip. These chips are super yummy with guacamole and salsa. However, they do have a tendency to break when trying to get a lot of guacamole. I have yet to make some yummy nachos. But I can’t wait.

The nacho chip is a bit spicy they are addictive. You may just eat the whole bag. The lime chips are super with guacamole or salsa. The Sea Salt is good and tastes almost exactly like the chips you get in a Mexican restaurant. I guess because I am grain free and can’t eat any other chip on the market I prefer the one with the most flavor.

Several stores in my area currently sell the Lime and Sea Salt chips. I recently purchased Nacho chips online from Siente Foods. Even though customer service is all through email their customer service is awesome. I had made an error when I ordered. As soon as I say my mistake I immediately contacted them through email. They got back to me the next day saying no problem and corrected my mistake. To me that’s Awesome. All in all the tortillas and chips are flavorful and tasty not to mention their customer service is remarkable.

Hence, if you can’t find them in a store near you they could be shipped directly to you direct from Siete.

Again the only drawback I see is the price. They cost roughly $5.50 for tortillas to make tacos with. However, the prices seem to be comparable to other grain-free and gluten-free chips. These are some of my favorite treats.

Siete Company:

In any event, I absolutely adore that this is a small business and family-owned. In fact, when someone in their family found out they had autoimmune illnesses this family came together to research to find foods that heal and foods that harm. Needless to say, they created recipes that were tasty. I firmly believe that food tastes better when it is made from love. Hence, I feel I can taste the love and compassion that Siete puts into their tortillas and tortilla chips.

In Conclusion:

To conclude I have used the tortillas to make Easy Keto Shrimp Tacos and even Nachos. To summarize these nachos are excellent in chili or soup as they hold up like any corn tortilla chip on the market. Needless, to say they are also great right out of the bag.
