Dealing With Grief
Today I find myself having difficulty writing this blog post. Due to a long bout of insomnia and sleep deprivation. Life is full of change. Some change we look forward to while at other times wish that things would stay the same. What is that old saying? “The more things change the more they stay the same.”
We all deal with grief differently. Grief is odd you can go years and then all of a sudden a song, sound, smell or something else triggers our grief. Then all of a sudden we are back to grieving. My brother has been gone for a long time. Yet I miss him and feel emotionally drained and spiritually distraught. I am sad about all the events he is missing and has missed. I miss talking to him on the phone and laughing as my brother. So forgive me if my blog post is short tonight.
In any event, if you too are suffering from grief know that I am lifting you and your family up in prayer. Life is a combination of beautiful and gorgeous moments filled with sadness and grief.
