Today I find myself having difficulty writing this blog post. I am so sleep deprived due to a long bout of insomnia and sleep deprivation. Life is full of change. So change we look forward to while at other times wish that things would stay the same. What is that old saying? “The more things change the more they stay the same.”
We all deal with grief differently. Grief is odd you can go years and then all of a sudden a song, sound, smell or something else triggers our grief. Then all of a sudden we are back to grieving. My brother has been gone for 7 years yet somehow on his birthday I miss him and feel emotionally drained and spiritually distraught. While I know he is no longer suffering I am sad for all of those he left behind. I am sad about all the events he is missing and has missed. I miss talking to him on the phone and laughing as my brother was hysterical. So forgive me if my blog post is short tonight.
In any event, if you too are suffering from grief know that I am lifting you and your family up in prayer. While life has a bunch of beautiful and gorgeous moments it is also filled with sadness and grief. Ingredients:
- 1/2 canned coconut milk (thick part only)
- 1/2 a tsp Garam Masala
- 1 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp jalapeno powder
- 3/4 tsp mustard powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp ground brown mustard powder
Directions:
Combine all the above ingredients in a small bowl.
Serve alongside or on top of Grain-Free Buffalo Curry Meatballs.
