Refined Sugar-Free Dried Cranberries are a sweet and tart snack. They are lovely in salads, cookies, and as a way to decorate all kinds of baked goods. In fact, they will beautifully jewel any cheese and meat platter. They are slightly chewy and sweet from the monk fruit sweetener. These little fruity jewels look so pretty on crepes, pancakes, or waffles. Once, made simply use your imagination on how to use them. At any rate, they make great snacks.

Consequently, most things on store shelves I can’t eat as they have ingredients in them that I can’t eat. In all honesty, I like to snack on dried cranberries. However, it is so easy to make. Indeed, they can also be placed into a grinder to get cranberry powder. Cranberry powder makes a great decoration as well. Fresh cranberries are always prevalent in grocery stores this time of year. In any case, I tend to purchase several bags and freeze one. Hence, it is that time of year again to post this recipe. Needless to say, when I first wrote this recipe I couldn’t find any sugar free dried cranberries on store shelves. I, therefore, set out to create my own.

Refined Sugar-Free Dried Cranberries:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh or frozen Cranberries
1 1/2 cups of boiling water
4 tbsp monk fruit sweetener
Directions:
First, add boiling water to the cranberries. Second, allow berries to sit for 10 minutes. Next, drain the cranberries. Finally, dry of the cranberries. Next, cut them in half. Combine the monk fruit sweetener and cut cranberries. Lastly, add the cranberries to a shelf on a dehydrator. Turn the dehydrator on 125 – 135 F.. Finally, allow cranberries to dry for up to 8 hours. Lastly, remove from the dehydrator and use or store in a sterilized glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Stores up to 4 months.

- 1/2 cup fresh sliced cranberries
- 4 tbsp Monkfruit Sweetener
- 1 1/2 cup of boiling water
Instructions
- First, add boiling water to the cranberries. (fresh or frozen)
- Second, drain and dry the cranberries.
- Thirdly, cut cranberries in half.
- Stir together cranberries and monkfruit together.
- Place cranberries onto a tray in the dehydrator on 125 F to 135 seting.
- Let dry for 6 hours.
- Check on cranberries if not dried to your liking return to the dehydrator.
- Remove from dehydrator and place in a sterilized jar with a lid and store for 4 months.
