Ground Star Anise is a wonderful addition to your pantry for making many recipes from Asia and Europe. It is superb to sprinkle in mulled wines, ciders, gingersnap, or pumpkin recipes. So easy to make at home. However, if you run out or don’t have time to go to the store just make your own. This spice has a milder flavor than Anise Seed. This slightly licorice-flavored spice is a wonderful addition to a spice drawer.
