Savory Chicken Spice Rub is a 13 spice blend with a small amount of coconut sugar which is refined sugar-free. Not to mention this spice rub adds a ton of flavor to any chicken dish. In fact, it makes a wonderfully savory, and Spicy Fried Chicken. In fact, this spice rub may become a favorite.
I had been craving chicken wings. Since going grain free I can’t use many of the combination seasonings as they have refined sugar or something else I can’t have. Therefore, I have had to create my own blends. Needless to say, this is the recipe I came up with. Next on my to do list is to share my grain free chicken wing recipe, and keto spicy wing sauce.
Savory Chicken Rub:
Smoked paprika brings this spice rub to another level. Indeed this spice has it all slightly sweet, smoky, spicy and savory flavors. All these flavors will blow your mind. Not only is this spice rub perfect for chicken it is also incredible on beef or pork.
Furthermore, my family raved about the flavor of the chicken with this rub on it. Believe it or not, they couldn’t get enough, in fact, my husband complained he ate too much. While I am glad my husband enjoyed it so much I am sorry that he overate.
All food should create such a memory that you being to salivate even before you begin to eat.

Savory Chicken Spice Rub
Ingredients:
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 3 tsp salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon savory
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of sage
- 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
Directions:
Combine spices and label BBQ Wing seasonings.Store in a glass jar in your pantry.
