My recipes are grain free, refined sugar-free and most are dairy free. I revamped my diet to improve my health. Not only has it improved my health but that of my family as well. Not only have I lost weight but so have they. I am not much of a writer. I love to write recipes. One of the things I really missed when I went grain free was bbq chicken wings. I had to create a recipe. Use 1 cup of my homemade ketchup recipe. I use hickory liquid smoke, Chalula, Sambal Oelek ground fresh chili paste and/or Keto Nevada Sauce or Worcestershire sauce. This recipe will have you believe that you went to your favorite wing place or pizzeria. These wings are crispy with a slight heat.
Note: If using for chicken wings. Make sauce and pour into a bowl. Add 2 -4 chicken wings and coat them in the sauce. Remove and serve. Can serve with celery, carrots, ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing. Use with Savory Chicken Rub/Spice and Grain Free Chicken wings.
1 cup my ketchup
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon onion powder
4 teaspoons hickory liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoons coconut sugar
1 tablespoons prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoons Chalula
1 tablespoons Sambal Oelek
Place all ingredients and heat on a pan until it comes to a boil. Reduce to low and cook for 1 hour. Make sauce and pour into a bowl. Add 2 -4 chicken wings and coat them in the sauce. Coats approximately 2 lbs of chicken wings.
