Gluten-Free Norwegian Waffles

Norwegian Waffles are soft and often have brown goat cheese. Brown cheese can be found at European Specialty stores.  As a matter of fact, Swedes prefer crispy waffles served with jam and whipped cream.

To craft the perfect gluten-free Norwegian waffle batter, start by whisking together your dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Needless to say, this includes flour, baking powder, monk fruit sweetener, and cardamom. In a separate bowl, beat together vanilla, eggs, melted coconut oil, sour cream, and nut milk until well combined. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently until just combined – be careful not to overmix, as this can result in tough waffles. Let the batter rest for a few minutes to allow the ingredients to meld together before pouring it onto a preheated waffle iron.

Cooking Tips for the Fluffiest, Most Flavorful Waffles

Nevertheless, for the most flavorful waffles, make sure to preheat your waffle iron properly before pouring in the batter. This will help create a crispy exterior while maintaining a soft interior. Additionally, try adding a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon to your batter for an extra boost of flavor. Experiment with various toppings such as fresh berries, whipped cream, or even a drizzle of maple syrup to take your gluten-free waffles to the next level. By following these cooking tips, you’ll be able to create waffles that are sure to impress your family and friends.
