Jalapeno Lime Beurre Blanc is a classic French butter sauce. By the way, it is made with a reduction of vinegar, wine, and of course butter. This thick, creamy, and luscious sauce is the perfect addition to many dishes. In fact, this tasty sauce upgrades any dish or meal to a more refined and scrumptious one. Believe it or not, it is similar to a Hollandaise. Needless to say, this is a sauce you will definitely want to add to your repertoire. Jalapeno Lime Beurre Blanc

Consequently, Beurre Blanc pairs perfectly with fish. Hence, adding jalapeno and lime adds a slightly more intense flavor to this decadent traditional French Sauce. Furthermore, this goes extremely well with my Jalapeno Chilean Sea Bass. Indeed, each and every tasty morsel will have your taste buds in seventh heaven. As a final point, this is one of the most flavorful sauces you will encounter.

Jalapeno Lime Beurre Blanc:

  • 2 tbsp chopped shallots
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp Powdered Jalapeno
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tbsp chopped capers
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro

Ingredients:

First, in a heavy saucepan combine shallots, vinegar, powdered jalapeno, lime juice, and lime zest over medium heat until liquid is reduced to a couple of tablespoons.Sauce ingredients in a pan (This should take approximately 5 minutes). Second, add in heavy cream and bring to a boil for one minute. Next, reduce heat and whisk in the butter 1 tablespoon. Continue to whisk the whole time. Finally, add new pats of butter after the first pat of butter been incorporated. Once, the sauce has the consistency of hollandaise remove it from heat. For a thinner sauce pass it through a fine sieve. Lastly, season with salt, pepper, chopped capers, and cilantro.Adding in the last of the ingredients Serve Can be made up to an hour ahead of time. Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp chopped shallots

  • 1/4 cup white wine

  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tbsp chopped capers
  • 1 tbsp cilantro

Instructions

  • First, in a heavy saucepan combine shallots, vinegar, wine, powdered jalapeno, lime juice, and lime zest over medium heat until liquid is reduced to a couple of tablespoons. (This should take approximately 5 minutes).
