Refined Sugar-Free Pumpkin Glaze on top of Gluten-Free Harvest Pumpkin Cake Donuts make a good donut an outstanding finger-licking donut. As a matter of fact, this glaze hits these pumpkin donuts out of the ballpark.
Those of us with allergies or autoimmune illnesses find it hard to navigate the world. Most social gatherings include food. I don’t know of one local restaurant that offers a wide variety of foods that I can eat right off the menu or without bringing my own ketchup, salad dressing, etc. Our friends and family want us to celebrate with them when they have birthdays or weddings. However, most people don’t offer grain-free, gluten-free, refined sugar-free items to eat. There is one bakery locally that does offer and sell grain-free, refined sugar-free items but they use vegetable oil. That one ingredient means I can’t eat them. Many other bakeries offer gluten-free or sugar-free but few offer gluten-free and refined sugar-free.
Not being able to enjoy the consumption of food at social gatherings can make one feel secluded or excluded. Our culture, traditions, festivals, and often customs involve foods. Imagine how isolating it can be to not be able to go out to dinner or enjoy that birthday cake. Those with allergies don’t have a choice. It is my sincere hope that I can help families be able to enjoy meals, snacks, and desserts together again.
Refined Sugar-Free Pumpkin Glaze:
Once I made my Harvest Pumpkin Cake Doughnuts I wanted an unusual glaze. Needless to say, I noticed there were like two tablespoons of pumpkin left in the can. Therefore, I wanted to use it as I really despise waste. In all honesty, I basically just sat and played with the amounts and ingredients until I felt that I got it right. Indeed the glaze intensifies the pumpkin flavor and adds a light sweetness.
Consequently, with Halloween on the way top with a few poppy seeds. For Halloween parties and an eerie vibe simply tell anyone they are spider eggs. Add poppy seeds or not. Ideal for kids’ parties. Just add Pumpkin Donuts to a plate and make the icing and allow kids to add as much or as little icing as they want. They can also choose to add the poppy seeds or not.
What is more, I think you could also use this glaze on cakes, muffins, cookies, pancakes, waffles. or on top of crepes. At any rate, check out my other recipes.
