Refined Sugar-Free Chocolate Bowls
Needless to say, this recipe is quick and easy to make. Less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Not to mention, this simple recipe can be made with variations. For example white chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, dark chocolate, or even milk chocolate. Not to mention that you can add different fruit or nut extracts or a small amount of fruit or nut flavored liquor.
At any rate, I used this to make Gluten-Free Chocolate-Fudge Blackberry-Curd Cake. Amazon sells stevia sweetened Lily’s Chocolate Chips. By the way, use my homemade chocolate chips.
Makes one chocolate bowl.
Refined Sugar-Free Chocolate Bowls
Ingredients:
1/2 cup chocolate chips homemade or store-bought
First, wrap a small 1/2 cup with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 1 hour. Next, remove the chilled bowl and place the bowl upside down on a plate. Lastly, melt chocolate chips over a double boiler. Using a spoon drizzle chocolate over the upside-down bottom of the bowl until the bottom of the bowl is covered. Place the bowl into the fridge for 20 minutes. Remove the glass bowl and unwrap the plastic wrap from the bowl and then remove the chocolate bowl from the plastic. It is fine if it not perfectly circular and has rough edges as it gives it a more rustic look. Use to decorate cakes, cupcakes or serve pudding and ice creams in.
