Elk Steak Red-Wine Reduction is the perfect New Year’s Eve dinner or any special occasion meal. This steak is such a decadent and delicious meat. Elk is considered a Gourmet item. Not to mention, it pairs extremely well with this Red-Wine Balsamic Reduction. The two pair so well together. Treat yourself to an expensive Steakhouse dinner with this Elk Steak recipe at home. Elk Steak Red-Wine Reduction on a plate with cauliflower mash and lingonberries.

Elk Steak Red-Wine Reduction:

Nevertheless, this is the time of year many have Elk in their freezers. Indeed, those who have Elk tend to be hunters. Although, nowadays there are many Raised Elk Ranchers. Hence, if you are in the mood for Elk it can often be purchased online. Farm-Raised Elk is “new style” food. Of course, many Steakhouses now offer Elk. Therefore, if you are craving a Steakhouse meal at home this recipe should be on your to-make list.

In fact, Elk is low in calories, high in iron, and low in cholesterol and fat (1). Needless to say, it is higher in protein than even Buffalo meat. Nonetheless, Amazon sells tapioca flour.

Needless to say, this recipe uses my Rosemary Wine Salt which can be substituted with Pink Salt. Consequently, I highly recommend using a Red Wine that you would drink.

As a matter of fact, 2020 has been a wonky year. Furthermore, I thought maybe some would like to celebrate the new coming year with a splendid dinner. This elk steak is sure to do the trick. In other words, here’s to hoping the New Year brings everything we want it to. May it be a blessing to all.

Great recipe. Love steak, but prefer my meat well done. But the red wine and balsamic reduction with a nice steak is perfect ?.
