Gluten-Free Chocolate Tart Shells is a nice chocolatey flavored crust for tart or pie. In fact, it is perfect for a variety of tarts or pies and is a nice change of pace. Made from scratch chocolate tart or a pie crust is tasty and refined sugar-free not to mention vegan as well as grain-free. Perfect to use as a tart shell or pie crust. Gluten-Free Chocolate Tart Shells
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cup Almond Flour
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp powdered monk fruit sugar
- pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp coconut oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Grease four 4 inch tart pans. Combine almond flour, cocoa powder, powdered monk fruit sugar, and salt. Stir until well combined. Finally, melt the coconut oil in a microwave oven on high for 30 seconds. Pour the coconut oil into the flour mixture and combine ingredients.
Place an overflowing 1/4 cup of crumb mixture into 4-inch tart shells and press the crumbs into the tart pan using your hands or by pressing a 1/4 cup around the edges and on the bottom.
Place tart pans onto a baking sheet and place in the oven.
Bake for 12 – 15 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.
