This recipe will teach you how to make your own ketchup using natural ingredients and no added sugars. From burgers to fries, this condiment will take your meals to the next level of deliciousness.

Why Make Ketchup:

While store-bought ketchup may be convenient, there are downsides to relying on these mass-produced options. One of the biggest drawbacks is the high sugar content found in many commercial ketchup brands. These sugars, often in the form of high fructose corn syrup, can contribute to weight gain, inflammation, and other health issues when consumed in excess.

Another downside to store-bought ketchup is the use of artificial preservatives, additives, and colorings. While these ingredients help extend the shelf life and enhance the appearance of commercial products, they can also have detrimental effects on our health. By opting for homemade ketchup, you can avoid these unnecessary additives and enjoy a fresher, more wholesome condiment.

So, why settle for store-bought ketchup when you can create a refined sugar-free version that not only tastes incredible but also keeps your meals wholesome? With homemade ketchup, you can take control of your condiments and add a touch of homemade goodness to every meal. Prepare to bid farewell to the mass-produced alternatives and embark on a flavorful journey that will delight your taste buds and nourish your body

Why I Created Refined Sugar-Free Homemade Ketchup:

Since going refined sugar-free I have needed to recreate many different condiments and other items. When I first switched my diet I had no idea what I was going to do. I thought for sure the internet would have wonderful and tasty recipes that I could avail myself of. However, when I looked on the internet for my specific dietary needs I found but a handful of recipes. Therefore, I knew if I was going to maintain a grain-free, refined sugar-free with limited dairy I was going to have to create recipes myself.

In fact, this recipe makes my life much easier as I can now go out to a few restaurants and bring my own condiments and dressings. Prior to making my own ketchup, I had to have a plain hamburger without anything on it. Life is much sweeter now that I can add ketchup and mustard to my hamburgers.

Above all this recipe is quick and easy to make. Nonetheless, cook for ten minutes remove from heat allow to cool. Next, simply pour into a sterilized mason jar with a sterilized lid. In any case, this recipe is for a small batch of ketchup and merely store inside the refrigerator.

Recipes and information:

[…] After scouring the ingredient list of Cocktail Sauces in the store I have taken the time to make my own. I make my own Hickory BBQ sauce and often have that in the fridge. I have also found that most Horseradish on the market also contains items I can’t eat and is not potent enough for me. Therefore I make my own. Feel free to make this recipe with Ketchup. Try my Homemade Ketchup. […]
