Drizzle over fresh fruit to make a quick and healthy dessert. Needless to say, the syrup can be frozen in ice cube trays or small ice cube trays. Furthermore, it is similar to simple syrups that are made and used in canning. Hence, if you have ever canned you have probably made a simple syrup. Nevertheless, canning uses three kinds of syrups. They are light, medium, and heavy. Consequently, this is a medium syrup. Light syrup is the least amount of sweetener.
Last but not least, it is the perfect addition to any buffet or brunch board. Incidentally, mint syrup would make a great addition to any graduation, baby shower, or bridal shower. Just add a variety of teas hot or iced and a small pitcher of syrup.
