Nitro Cold Brew Coffee is a tasty and quick method for a cold treat. Iced cold coffee is a refreshing drink. Not to mention, Cold Brew or Cold Brew Nitro coffee is just the way to go. In fact, it is the perfect way to beat the summer heat, when you don’t want to wait hours before you can enjoy your decadent coffee. Consequently, this cold brew is ready in less than 30 minutes. How is that possible? Because it is made in a Whip Cream Dispenser. A whipped cream dispenser or sometimes called a whip cream canister use N2O (carbon dioxide bubbles) cartridges to force air into the coffee. It is frequently used in restaurants and by home chefs to make whipped cream. Indeed, it creates a luxurious mouthfeel. Nevertheless, the longest part of waiting for this cold brew to drip through the coffee grounds.
Nitro Cold Brew Coffee:
Believe it or not but this recipe uses my favorite kitchen gadget, the Whip Cream Canister. However, I highly suggest reading my Whipped Cream Dispenser blog post. Needless to say, you can adjust the concentration of coffee to suit your tastebuds. Therefore, dilute it or add more coffee grounds. In conclusion, simply follow the step-by-step instructions to create this coffee house classic at home. Normally, you place equal amounts of coffee and water into a jar and place it in the fridge overnight for 8 hours or more. This makes a cold brew concentrate. Similar to creating infused water. Why wait over 8 hours to enjoy this cold treat?
Moreover, be sure to follow the directions for the Whip Cream Dispenser you own. Before using the canister make sure that the plastic ring is in the top and placed properly before using. Last but not least this recipe calls for a one-liter whip cream canister or dispenser.
How to Serve Nitro Cold Brew:
Obviously, this quick brew cold brew under pressure coffee can be served cold, ice cold, or piping hot. Simply heat the coffee up on the stove or in the microwave.

Cold Brew Directions:
Ingredients:
- 6 tbsp freshly ground coffee
- 12 oz. water
- *5 drops flavored stevia drops (optional)
Directions:
First, add the coffee grounds to the bottom of the whip cream canister. Second, pour in room temperature water and stevia. Third, swirl the contents around. Screw the top to the canister on. Add the decorative tip. Next, add the charger to the carrier. Finally, screw the carrier onto the top. Additionally, you will hear a hissing sound as it charges. Let the charged canister sit for 5 minutes. Most importantly do not shake the canister or tip it upside down.
Finally, set up a quart canning jar with a coffee cone filter with a paper filter inside. Next, place the cone over a sterilized canning jar. Place a towel over the decorative tip to minimize the mess. Unscrew the tip slightly to allow air out. Holding the canister upright release the air slowly from the canister. Hence, make sure all the air is removed from the canister before removing the top. Once all the air is removed carefully remove the top of the canister. Pour out the contents into the coffee cone. Lastly, allow the coffee to drip through. Use as is or dilute with a little water. Add cream, nut milk, or sweetener, and enjoy.
