Keto Prime Rib Rub

My recipes are grain free, refined sugar free and most are dairy free. My son’s favorite meal is Prime Rib. It so very yummy and tasty. However if you eat Prime Rib out in any other state than Nevada it can cost a pretty penny. As with everything it is cheaper to purchase and make at home. But many people are afraid of making this at home for fear they would ruin it. It really is super easy to make. I start by making a rub. Prime Rib can also be called Standing Rib Roast or if it is cut into steaks they are called Rib Eye Steaks. If using this recipe to make Rib Eye steaks just sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon of rub on both sides.

Because of the price I only purchase for special occasions like Christmas day, Easter, Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. With Father’s day in the USA coming up I thought I wanted to post it in case someone wanted to make this dish. Don’t be intimidated to make this very decadent yet super easy dinner. Prime Rib Rub

2 tablespoons salt

1 teaspoon pepper

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon parsley

1/2 teaspoon celery seed

1 tablespoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoons rosemary

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon terragon

 

Put all the seasonings into a bowl or glass jar. I like using a glass jar and storing the remaining seasonings. Pour some in your hand and rub and press all over the prime rib including the sides. Do this with a bone in or bone out Prime Rib.
