Keto Dill Deviled eggs are the first appetizer to go. I serve on my Smorgasbord table. Indeed these eggs make the perfect appetizer to go with any meal or serve at any holiday party. A favorite at my house and soon to be a favorite at your house. This recipe contains fresh dill, dill relish, capers, garlic stuffed olives, onions, and mustard.
I created this recipe years ago to replace some of the egg dishes that are on a Swedish smorgasbord table. There are only 4 of us in my family. Therefore, I needed to simplify our smorgasbord so that nothing went to waste and everything gets eaten. Not to mention this is an updated version of a retro vintage recipe. Needless to say, this is one of my favorite go-to appetizer recipes perfect for any time of the year. Let alone simple and easy to make. Take to a potluck, summer picnic, baby shower party, tea party, graduation, 4th of July, Easter, Valentines, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve Party, Midsummer party, or even just date night with your hubby.
Information About the Chef:
On our table, this year was Swedish Meatballs, Ham, mashed potatoes, red cabbage, pickled beets, pickled cucumbers, bread and butter pickles, dill pickles, black olives, green garlic stuffed olives, deviled eggs, fried sausages, appetizer meatballs, radishes, celery with cheese, peel and eat shrimp, and gravy. In fact, these Keto Dill Deviled Eggs are my substitution in place of hard-boiled eggs with Swedish caviar. Granted this is not a proper Swedish smorgasbord but is more than enough food for my family.
The following day we to my Mothers-in-law’s early and have Prime Rib, mashed potatoes, creamed peas, carrots, and gravy. Then after a while, we open presents and play cards. What did you eat? Do you celebrate on Christmas Eve or Christmas day or both?
The caper and dill flavor is my hat tip to Sweden. Many dishes in Sweden have fresh dill in them. Let alone these are a family favorite at my house. Use my homemade mayonnaise recipe. or store-bought hydrogenated fat-free.
