Gluten-Free Southwest Egg Rolls are the perfect crispy mildly spicy appetizer. These tasty little bites will disappear from your table. In any case, these are the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer. Filled with ground turkey, black beans, and Tex-Mex spices. Indeed, they are a favorite take-out recipe here in the USA. These tasty crispy bites will have you wanting just one more. Hence, they are also elegant enough to serve for a holiday party or get-together.Gluten-Free Southwest Egg Rolls on a a plate cut on a diagonal

Gluten-Free Southwest Egg Rolls:

In all honesty, it is a mix of an empanada and a Mexican flavored egg roll. In a word, it is similar to an appetizer I used to eat at Chili’s restaurant. In conclusion, the appetizer at the restaurant isn’t gluten-free I can’t enjoy it anymore. I, therefore, wanted to recreate this tasty treat but healthier and gluten-free. Needless to say, it is the perfect light lunch, appetizer, or dinner. Consequently, I have had several of these with a small salad for dinner in the summer.

At any rate, once they are cut lengthwise you won’t be able to resist eating them. Incidentally, if you have never used cassava flour to bake or cook with I highly recommend reading my Cassava Flour Information blog post. In short, Amazon carries Cassava Flour, cumin, and chili powder.

In conclusion, they are wonderful dipped into my Creamy Southwest Salad Dressing.

Personal Notes:

By the way, I don’t do well with negativity. Hence, I am always looking for the brighter side of things. Subsequently, I hope in some small way my blog can help lift you up. Nevertheless, I found this on Facebook, I don’t know who wrote it or where it is from. However, it made me feel good. In any event,  I thought I would share it with you today. Furthermore, it is my sincere hope that the quote below uplifts your day.

“Today I wish you a day of ordinary miracles. A fresh pot of coffee you don’t have to make yourself…. An unexpected phone call from an old friend… Green stoplights on your way to work…The fastest line at the grocery store… A good sing-along song on the radio… Your Keys right where you left them.”

In conclusion, it is my hope that your day is blessed and filled with contentment.
