Valentine’s Day Menu Ideas will help you plan your day as well as spoil your loved ones. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. At our house, I always try to make a beautiful and decadent dinner and dessert. Indeed, it is a time to show the ones you love just how much they mean to you. Consequently, I like to pamper and spoil my family just a little with a wonderful meal. Needless to say, these recipes could also be made for your significant other and turned into a romantic date instead.
Valentine’s Day Menu Ideas:
In fact, below is a list of recipes from breakfast to dinner. Not to mention, appetizers and desserts. Or perhaps you make breakfast and lunch for the family and reserve dinner time for that special someone in your life. Whatever your plans are I have you covered. At any rate, all of my recipes listed are gluten-free and refined sugar-free.
To be honest, my favorite Valentine’s dinner meal is Steak and Lobster most commonly referred to as Surf and Turf in restaurants. However, it can be made far cheaper if you make it yourself. Now that I have given you a small preview of what is on this list let’s take a look at breakfast ideas.
Valentine’s Day Menu Ideas for Breakfast Recipes
Of course, my favorite and top breakfast is my Swedish Pancakes with fresh strawberries and whipped cream or whipped coconut cream. These pancakes have long been a family favorite. This is gluten-free. a grain-free version of an old family recipe from Sweden. These tasty small pancakes are crepe-like in texture. Furthermore, Amazon sells Swedish Pancake pans.
Gluten-Free
The topping of strawberries and cream makes it the perfect choice for Valentine’s Day. Not to mention, these pancakes could also be served as dessert. Simply make a stack of pancakes, top each one with a little whipped cream and a slice of strawberry continue to stack until you have seven pancakes. Top with whipped cream and more fruit or jam. Of course, if you are searching for a quick and easy breakfast item then my Gluten-Free Dutch Pancake is for you. Consequently, I adore topping it with fresh fruit making it a healthier choice. Needless to say, it starts by preheating your pan in the oven. Followed by dumping the ingredients into a blender and blending. Finally, with a hot pad gently remove the pan and pour in your batter.
Lastly, simply return to the oven and cook. Quick and easy. The pancake serves two. However, if you are feeding more than two just double or triple the recipe. Pour into two or more pans and you are done.
Waffles:
Third, on this breakfast list is waffles. My favorite waffles are Sweet and Tart Lemon Waffles which have poppyseed in them. These waffles are so light and airy. At any rate, if you are looking to give your tastebuds a delight then these waffles are the answer. Crispy on the outside and airy on the inside. Top with jam, fruit, or flavored syrup.
Perhaps you might also want to add some Maple Turkey Breakfast Sausage to your pancakes or waffles. This recipe is made from ground turkey making them healthier with a maple flavor. These tasty morsels will fill your belly with delight.
Lunch Ideas
Gluten-Free Baked Chicken Fingers are the perfect crunchy lunch. These low-carb bites are perfect for lunch. Pair together with a salad for a complete meal. Perhaps you would prefer a homemade pizza. I have several recipes for pizza crust to choose from. My favorites are Cauliflower Cassava Pizza Crust and Family Size Pizza Crust. Next, choose from Morrocan Chicken Pizza a delightful pizza with Moroccan Red Chili Sauce. Perhaps you would be a meatball lover. If so then, Gluten-Free Greek Meatball Pizza is the choice for you. Topped with Tzatziki sauce in place of pizza sauce. This Tzatziki-flavored pizza is the bomb.
Valentine’s Day Dinner Ideas
Elk is another favorite. Indeed, if you are lucky enough to have a hunter in your family then elk is in your freezer. However, there are Butcher shops that do sell Elk if you are looking for it. Elk Steak Red Wine Reduction will spoil your family. Next, on my list is a Blueberry Balsamic Glazed Steak. A beautiful and tasty steak to fulfill even the emptiest stomach.
Last but not least on my dinner list is Keto Lobster Tails. Lobster is one of the most decadent and flavorful seafood on the market. While it is costly it is so worth it. What is it about lobster that makes one feel wealthy? Perhaps seafood is what is your favorite. Gluten-Free Creamy Seafood Alfredo is so creamy and luscious.
Appetizers:
Soup or stew is always a great one. Of course, one of my favorites is Oyster-Bar Shrimp Pan Roast which is a classic and has been around since the 1800s. Perhaps Brie Strawberry Pies is more to your liking. Or perhaps you would enjoy my Lobster Dip with a vegetable platter.
Perhaps you would rather have Keto Dill Deviled Eggs. Deviled eggs are quick and easy to make. They are the perfect appetizer for any time.
Valentine’s Day Menu Ideas Desserts:
Last but not least is dessert. What is better than chocolate? I am a firm believer that nothing is better than chocolate. Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake is at the top of the list. Dark, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate with a flourless cake will have you drooling. My second choice is a Gluten-Free Chocolate Brownie Cake. A moist Brownie cake with a thin chocolate Ganache topping and an easy decoration of chevrons. Strawberry Fraisier Cake is also a show-stopper and not as hard as it looks. Perhaps you are looking for something that looks pink.
Lingonberry Panna Cotta is an elegant custard-like dessert. Possibly sharing a dessert such as Homemade Chocolate Treasure Box filling it with mousse or pudding. Check out Strawberry Jello Pudding Parfait and Mini Blueberry Muffins. Or try Chocolate Fudge Cake also, known as a Wellesley Chocolate Fudge Cake. Please keep in mind all recipes are Gluten-Free and Refined Sugar-Free. No matter what you choose I wish you and your family a Happy Valentine’s Day. Enjoy the time with your family. If you are like me spending time with my husband is one of my favorite things in the whole world.
